Steampunk watch research

The Second project would be to design and create a scaled up model of a watch that is in the style of the artistic concept of Steampunk. Steampunk is a mixed genre that combines mechanical Victorian design with elements of fantasy or science fiction. I will look at other objects of the Steampunk style and base my design on that research also exploring watches in general. I will choose an appropriate scale at which to represent my model. I wanted to do this project to show my machining skills and develop them further. Making a model like this that will have to be crisp will help me improve my finishing skills in particular my spraying technique. This project gives me the chance to show off my design and development skills, which is an area of the creative process that I enjoy.
